Ignorance & its application

The idea of ignorance & its application!

How often is ignoring things successfully? People ignore them to avoid being in unpleasant situations, heated arguments and for the sake of relations personal or professional.

Yup, people don’t react, respond & reply, that’s how they believe they ignore but they get affected, internally.  It’s true that some situations are handled because of ignoring things. 80% of people are not able to ignore things without getting affected & this results in stress, negativity, holding things, lack of concentration, distance in relation, mismanagement or loss of job & much more.

Recently I met an old friend, who had an abusive boss. He ignored him many times and harsh words started bothering him a lot, and he gradually found it difficult to cope, tried transfer didn’t work out finally quit after a year. And in this whole process, he was just trying to ignore & escape. The dealing part was missing.

This results in EI (Emotional Intelligence) imbalance.

People who have a balanced EI deal with situations without being self-affected, which is very rare.

Any public or personal comment or feedback, ignored many times momentary continue with direct & indirect justifications and reverse comments & incidents this goes on till months and years. This is very much seen among political parties, celebrities, competitors & at the workplace. People hold grudges and wait for the right chance to retaliate and till the time it occupies the brain and blocks the brain’s innovativeness.

The idea behind ignoring things is to ignore in a way that they won’t affect you. Otherwise, EI imbalance, stress, anxiety and much more are at your doorstep.

If you really want to ignore things then you should let it go that very moment and if not deal with the situation.

Being quite or non-responsive doesn’t imply ignorance all the time.

Ignore without being affected by it or deal with the situation.

Cheers
